FAN FEATURE FRIDAY #197 - JUNKYARD JOE EDITION

Ten-HUT!

Junkyard Joe is locked, loaded, and ready for action! Straight from the hit miniseries, this silent but unstoppable soldier is geared up with everything from grenades to a chocolate bar (priorities, right?).

As part of The Unnamed, Joe battles the Great Evil with a mix of raw firepower and a soldier’s grit. Whether he’s lobbing grenades or savoring a snack, one thing’s clear, this robot warrior means business!

Gear up with fellow soldiers Anthony, Ryan, Christopher, Alonzo, Simon and Charlie to see how they captured Junkyard Joe in his natural habitat - the battlefield!

Name: Anthony (@batbomb82_mezco_reviews)
Location: California, US
Inspiration: I love when Mezco thinks outside the box and gives us very fun and unique characters like this in the One:12 Collective line. Great detail in the sculpt, paint, soft goods and accessories.

Name: Ryan (@80sberg)
Location: Tennessee, US
Inspiration: I wanted the feel of a soldier in a moment of solitude, catching a break and a smoke, waiting for the next order from top brass. Junkyard Joe is ready for the next mission, he just needs a recharge first.

Name: Christopher (@sidvioustoys)
Location: Florida, US
Inspiration: This shot of the Junkyard Joe was inspired by comic covers of characters like Sgt. Rock and Junkyard Joe himself. After getting Joe out of the box and checking out the accessories I decided on an action-packed battle scene. Finally, I added in the Mez-it because he fit the military vibe.

Name: Alonzo (@grownmentoys)
Location: Alabama, US
Inspiration: I wanted to show Joe adjusting his helmet. I wanted to do a close-up shot to showcase the details.

Name: Simon (@sime_on_toast)
Location: Texas, US
Inspiration: I was inspired to have Junkyard Joe staring pensively into the moonlight as he endures the heavy rains of the monsoon season. Though I have yet to read the comic to garber his character, I imagined that he might be wondering what his purpose is in this war.

Name: Charlie (@boba_chuck)
Location: New York, US
Inspiration: Inspiration for the photo came from the Junkyard Joe comics. His setting in the jungle matched his story, and I just wanted it to look like it was ripped out of the comic book. This beautiful figure needs to be showcased in the best way he can be, and I hope I did him just a little justice. 👊🏼
