Name: Angel (@gh0stfacekill4h)
Location: California, US
Inspiration: I’ve been a figure collector since high school. Through collecting blogs and figure groups, I found Mezco Toyz, and it quickly became one of my favorite 1:12 lines, especially because of the soft goods. I’ve always loved seeing figures made from IPs I’m into, but what really stood out was how the brand started creating its own characters, that’s what pulled me in. My favorite? Definitely the Pink Skulls Chaos Club. Three figures loaded with accessories and giving off that classic punk-era vibe, it totally hooked me. That’s what inspired the cosplay in the photo I sent. It’s one of my favorite fits to wear to conventions. I love that it’s a bit of an “if you know, you know” thing, but even people who don’t recognize it are drawn to the look and vibe. It’s also one of the big reasons I love going to cons, seeing people go all-in on their fandoms, whether it’s something huge or totally niche. That energy is what makes it all so fun.

Name: Akiim (@sun_wuk0ng)
Location: New York, US
Inspiration: Ever since the moment Doc Nocturnal first leapt from the pages into the 3d figure form, I've been captivated. I set out to bring to life a character no one else did. conventions are more than weekend escapes—they’re living laboratories of fandom. Costume design became my year‑round Halloween. It’s the perfect excuse to dream up new personas. Now in my fifties, as a toy collector, I still chase that childhood thrill of unearthing the unattainable. For me, Comic Con isn’t just an event—it’s the ultimate treasure hunt, the only place where long‑lost toys and one‑of‑a‑kind collectibles finally resurface. For me, Doc Nocturnal lives not just in figure form, but in the heart of this cosplayer.

Name: Emilio (@action_figure_god)
Location: N/A
Inspiration: I absolutely love Mezco, I’ve even got it tattooed on my skin so I wanted to go all out and do something extreme. Comic Con always lands around my birthday (July 23rd), so a couple of days before the con, I convinced my girlfriend to let me chop off all my hair, it was down past my shoulders. I went and got colored contacts, tracked down Vapor’s exact outfit, bleached and dyed my hair green, and even painted my skin blue before heading to the show. I showed up early and rocked the outfit for two days straight! Me and D-Amazing got some sick photos together and Emmanuel took the shots of us. It was such an amazing experience, and now it’s basically a yearly tradition to show up in cosplay. This year I’ll be pulling up as a Pink Skull! 💪💪💪
