FAN FEATURE FRIDAY #263 - BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES BLUE & GRAY EDITION

Gotham’s protector has traded his classic colors for a look straight out of the animated series.

The One:12 Collective Blue & Gray Batman made his debut as an in-person exclusive at SDCC, bringing the iconic animated look to life with a detailed suit, classic cape and cowl, and all the gear you’d expect from the Dark Knight. And after making an appearance in our Batman Day giveaway, one lucky fan is officially taking him home. Congrats to our winner!

Inspiration: My inspiration for this photo was to make it look like it came straight out of the show. I wanted to capture Batman gazing at his enemies, mentally preparing himself for what he’s about to do. Carefully thinking about how to approach them before making his first strike.

Inspiration: I wanted to celebrate Batman Day with my favorite version of the character. I absolutely adore Batman: The Animated Series plus I love his iconic blue and gray costume. I was thrilled when Mezco released this combination, and I was fortunate enough to acquire him at San Diego Comic-Con.

Inspiration: When I received this fig, I instantly fell in love with this expression on the head sculpt. It gave me almost Adam West vibes, with that kind of silliness! So I wanted to utilise the headsculpt in a moment of peril for poor Batsy!

Inspiration: It was truly an honor to be given the opportunity to photograph this blue version of Batman for the SDCC exclusive reveal. The inspiration for this photo is of the caped crusader capturing his unsuspecting arch-nemesis, The Joker, as Batman uses his grappling hook to bring them both to higher ground.
