Q: When did you first start collecting and what was the first figure you remember seeking out?
A: I started as a kid in 1990 something, I got addicted to Bionicles from Lego.
Q: Who is your favorite superhero?
A: Thor, because he also falls into ancient mythology.
Q: What is your favorite movie of all time?
A: This is always a hard question… but I love thrillers. Recently, I watched The Menu and thought it was fun.
Q: Have you ever been to a Comic Con? If so, which one and what was your favorite part? If you cosplayed, what did you go as and what was your inspo?
A: I’ve been to LA Comic Con in 2018, it was my first one. I did not dress up, but loved seeing people as passionate about toys and comics as myself.
Q: What inspired you to start collecting?
A: I used to collect as a kid, and in 2018 I saw a figure in a store and the engineering of it blew me away. Toys from my childhood were trash compared to what’s out today!
Q: What inspires your photography?
A: I get inspired by other photographers, movies, real life moments, and of course, comic panels.
Q: What's one of your favorite photos you've ever taken?
A: I took one of Buzz Lightyear playing with an action figure. I loved it because I know Buzz as a toy, so to see him playing with a toy was just cool.
Q: Who are some of your favorite photographers in the collectible community?
A: Ughh, I love so many photographers work and cannot easily name them all! But a few that stand out are Damazing, Jasonmichael, jeyfigs, and Payson to name a few.
Q: What is your favorite aspect of being a collector?
A: I love creating a fantasy world outside of what has already been produced.
Q: What was your first One:12 Collective figure?
A: Moon Knight!
Q: What is your grail figure?
A: I am going to say Lone Roach. He is almost so incredible, I am afraid to play with him.
Q: Any advice you’d like to offer to new collectors?
A: Patience is key, try to pay retail for everything or this hobby will chew you up. Integrate yourself into the toy community. Lots of amazing people and advice about photography and collecting!
