FAN FEATURE FRIDAY #218 - SLASHER'S CUT EDITION

It’s that time of year again. Deep in the shadows of Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorhees waits. Haunted by tragedy and rage, he stalks the woods—watching, hunting, and ensuring no one leaves unscarred.
Whispers tell of campers who vanished without a trace, their fates sealed by the infamous hockey mask. Some say Jason collects tokens from those who cross his path.
Scroll down to see how Adrian, Andrew, and Khalid faced the terror 👇
But beware: once you enter Jason’s domain, there’s no turning back…

Name: Adrian (@itcamefromthetoybox)
Location: California, US
Inspiration: This shot was from a few Friday the 13ths ago, and at the time, I had a headache that felt similar to this. So I channeled my pain through this shot. Call it a splitting headache if you will 🪓

Name: Andrew (@slaystoys)
Location: Canada
Inspiration: his shot was inspired by my wanting to capture a quality portrait showcasing this amazing maskless head sculpt. I wanted it to feel like he was just about to put on the mask, and I feel like this pose really helps portray that!

Name: Khalid (@Kaicooper87)
Location: Bahrain 🇧🇭
Inspiration: This shot is a tribute to the golden age of 80s slasher horror — raw, gritty, and unapologetically eerie. I grew up watching those late-night VHS tapes where masked killers like Jason Voorhees ruled the screen, stalking through foggy woods and isolated campsites. I wanted to recreate that exact atmosphere — the cold blue tones, the dense fog, and the tension you feel just before the axe swings. Using the figure, I aimed to freeze a moment straight out of a lost frame from an 80s horror flick — something that feels both nostalgic and chilling. It’s my love letter to practical effects, classic horror tropes, and the unstoppable terror that defined a genre.
