There’s no better way to count down to Toyz Fair than by spotlighting this year’s exclusives, because new drops are our love language.

Leading the charge are One:12 Collective R.U.M.B.L.R. – Sandstorm Edition and One:12 Collective Franklin “Sparky” Foreman: Hardboiled Fiction Edition—a brutal desert bruiser and a hardboiled street tough that make a killer pair.

Location: Illinois, US
Inspiration: Living in Chicago, not too far from The Green Mill, the legendary bar tied to Al Capone, I wanted to give Sparky his own classic gangster bar moment. The whiskey glass felt like a must, and the knife adds just enough tension to suggest he is carving something into the bar. And with a name like Sparky, the cigarette pack in his other hand had to be part of the scene. I’m drawn to images that imply a story without spelling it out, and this one feels like you have walked in at exactly the wrong time.

Inspiration: I definitely wanted to have an explosion in these images, and I knew it would look cool if Gomez could be sliding across the RUMBLR hood like in an action movie. Also I thought the framing of the cacti gave it a real sense of location.

Inspiration: Sparky doesn’t play when it comes to getting the information he wants. This photo was a cheeky play on the lengths some Mezco fans would go to learn about future releases, as well as show off how well the black and white version works in photos.

Inspiration: I was inspired to shoot a desert action scene with the awesome sandstorm paint job on the RUMBLR. I included a tumbleweed from my own yard!
