FAN FEATURE FRIDAY #246 - BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES - BATMAN EDITION

Gotham doesn’t sleep... it waits. And from the rooftops above, Batman is already watching. No spotlight, no warning. Just precision. Whether he’s gliding through the skyline or closing in from the dark, every move is deliberate—every strike, final.

Scroll on to see how Lewis, Henry, Casey, CP, Jay, & Alonzo captured the Dark Knight mid-hunt, mid-glide, and exactly where he belongs.

Name: Lewis (@thebatcollector)
Location: Manchester, UK
Inspiration: I took inspiration from the striking opening image from the credits of Batman: The Animated Series. I wanted to make it a brighter scene, though, to showcase the fine details on the figure, especially the blue accents on the cape!

Name: Henry (@henroc1_12)
Location: New Jersey, US
Inspiration: In this photo, I wanted to display Batman in an action pose getting out of the Batmobile. Heavily inspired by the BTAS intro.

Name: Casey (@warrior_evans)
Location: Iowa, US
Inspiration: My inspiration for this picture came from the episode Beware the Gray Ghost. Once I saw the frightened head sculpt, it was the first scene that popped into my mind.

Name: CP (@c_pow3rs)
Location: South Carolina, US
Inspiration: I loved BTAS as a kid, and this figure brought back lots of memories. I wanted to showcase some of the accessories, so I chose the mask, and I also wanted to show the range of motion this figure has. I ended up going with a running pose through some smoke.

Name: Jay (@tmnt_1987_)
Location: Illinois, US
Inspiration: This shot is straight from my childhood, rushing home after school to watch Batman: The Animated Series every day. That show had such a distinct mood, with its deep shadows, sharp lighting, and dark, cinematic feel that made Gotham feel alive in a way nothing else did. I wanted to capture a piece of that here—the sense that Batman isn’t just seen, he emerges from the darkness. I also had to sneak in a nod to the vehicles. I never had the Batmobile growing up, so I improvised with what I had—the bike and those big tires became my version of Batman’s ride. This photo is really a mix of nostalgia, imagination, and paying tribute to the version of Batman that defined everything for me.

Name: Alonzo (@grownmentoys)
Location: Alabama, US
Inspiration: Just wanted to showcase Batman in his Batcave, keeping it moody and minimal, like he’s between missions.
